37th Annual Utica Sertoma Ice Cream Festival Set for Annual Memorial Day Run
Utica, Ohio (May 20, 2011) – The 2011 Utica Sertoma Annual Ice Cream Festival will be held May 28-30, at Velvet's Ye Olde Mill, 11324 Mt. Vernon Rd. (State Route 13), in Utica.
The parade will kick off the festival on Saturday, May 28, at 11 a.m., through the streets of Utica. Velvet will host the inaugural Little Miss Ice Cream Pageant following the parade at 1 p.m.
The festival will have events for all ages, every day, all day. Admission is free; parking is $5.
Some events include:
- Ice cream eating contests for all ages;
- Concerts and other live entertainment;
- Arts and crafts;
- Magic of Laughter Shows;
- Sheep herding with border collies;
- Sunday's Hot Rod show - Ye Olde Mill Rod Run;
- Monday's Gold Wing Cruise-in.
